In memory of the founder of CCPC, Mr. Wang Ming- Ning , the Wang Ming-Ning Memorial Foundation was established in 1988.

The major function of the foundation is to sponsor pharmaceutical research carried out by universities, teaching hospitals, and academic institutes and to provide scholarships to college and graduate students. Since its establishment, the foundation has provided a substantial amount of funds and numerous scholarships to researchers and students in pharmaceutical studies.

In 1990, the Wang Ming-Ning Memorial Foundation sponsored a series of anti-drug campaigns which included newspaper advertisements, TV commercials and a major concert.

In the future, the Wang Ming-Ning Memorial Foundation will continue to offer its support for public service as well as for the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
